One Time Wheel Workshop - Sunday 6/7

$120.00

Sunday, June 7th 10am - 1pm

Instructor: Molly Svoboda

Curious about the pottery wheel? Tried it before but want to develop your skills? In this small, hands-on workshop you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of throwing clay on the wheel. With just 6 participants, there’s plenty of opportunity for individualized instruction and support as you practice the basics of centering, shaping, and forming simple pots.

Come with curiosity and expect a playful, supportive environment where you can get messy, experiment, and receive tailored one-on-one guidance throughout the process.

Molly Svoboda of Boda Clay has been working on the wheel for over twelve years and teaching for many of them. She brings thoughtful instruction, deep knowledge of the material, and an approach that meets students where they are, whether it’s your first time touching clay or you’re hoping to refine existing skills.

Participants may keep up to 3 pieces to be glazed and fired by the studio. Before leaving, you’ll choose your glaze colors and we’ll take care of the rest! Finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be served.

Price includes all materials, glaze, and firing costs of up to 3 pieces.

Workshops are nonrefundable. Read about our cancellation policies on our FAQ page.
