Folsom Studio offers project-based workshops that are beginner-friendly, while also giving experienced makers fresh techniques and ideas to bring back to their own practice. From casual evening sessions to intensive skill-building classes, there’s something for everyone.
About the studio
Folsom Studio was founded in 2025 by ceramic artist and educator Malaika Tolford. Tucked inside a renovated 1920s tool factory in Botanical Heights, the space reflects a deep appreciation for craft, history, and place. Shared with a landscape architecture firm run by longtime friends, the studio grew from a desire to make and teach in community.
